To all students,
I understand the need to add feathers to various costumes even though the Talent Show was last December and it isn't relevant now or the idea that birds flying around would add joy to history class, but I must ask you to refrain from pulling owls away from the owlery or from delivering parcels. Thank you.
And to whoever left the shiny metal ball -it is composed of little square mirrors- in the Charms classroom, please pick it up or Finch will take it this afternoon.

The oncology ward was heartbreaking, but it is amazing how far muggles have reached without magic - using protons and gene therapy and medications to eradicate cancer cells.
But does anyone know why they were calling those volunteers "candy stripers"? And why they thought we were the new candy stripers? |

I particularly enjoyed this field trip. Not too many accidents, I hear, although, Luke, is everything okay? I wish we had more time to study each wing rather than run through it at a fast pace, though I believe it was more than adequate for a first visit. |

I am amused by the fact that all the teams for the Scavenger Hunt have Ravenclaws for their leaders. Even though Omicron has Ri, we all know Cal's going to have some say in the matter. But perhaps we should just forfeit to Alpha. After all, Kris has his own cheering section complete with purple pompoms.
Seriously though, I'm looking forward to the competition. Sorry, boys, but Omega is going to win. Right, Blair? |
